If elected, I aim to work alongside you, not just represent you from a distance. I believe that true leadership is built on inclusivity, open dialogue, and shared decision-making. My commitment is to be a visible and accessible presence in our community, actively listening to your needs and concerns. Together, we can take meaningful, direct action that addresses the challenges we face and creates opportunities for everyone. I am here not just to speak for you, but to work with you in building a stronger, more united future.
My campaign is built on the belief that It Takes a Village and that real progress happens when we work together across generations, neighborhoods, and experiences. I envision a Fayetteville where every child has a pathway to opportunity, every resident has access to safe and affordable housing, and every voice has a seat at the table.
This vision is rooted in service, equity, accountability, and transparency. We are committed to investing in our youth, protecting our neighborhoods, expanding digital access, supporting local businesses, and making sure city government is transparent and truly works for the people.
Together, we’re not just shaping policy we’re shaping a future where Fayetteville thrives as one united village. My platform is rooted in 5 branches, each a key area we must grow together for long-term change.
Everyone deserves clean, safe, and connected streets. I’ll prioritize sidewalk repairs, new lighting, road fixes, and stoplights in neglected areas. I'll advocate for adopting a approach to make streets safer especially near schools and senior homes. I’ll push for better hiring, oversight, vetting processes of contractors and project managers. I’ll also advocate for more trails, parks, and green spaces that connect homes, schools, and shops.
I’ll strengthen programs like Operation Ceasefire, PROOVE, and the office of by expanding youth engagement, mentorship, and healing-focused approaches. I'll support more funding for grassroots youth efforts through the Community Safety Micro-Grant Program. I’ll push to extend rec center hours and create safe teen spaces, bring trauma-informed workshops into schools, While being an advocate for cross-colaboration between Youth based non-profits in the area.
Internet access is essential. I’ll push for public Wi-Fi in parks, rec centers, and high-density housing, and expand digital literacy through partnerships with FSU, FTCC, and the library. I support a permanent Digital Navigator program to help residents get connected and build tech skills. I’ll also demand transparency around the city’s use of AI as residents deserve to know how it works, how it’s used, and how their rights are protected.
Housing is more than shelter it’s stability and opportunity. I’ll champion affordable housing with wraparound services like mental health care, job support, and youth programs. I’ll back converting vacant buildings into homes, expand home repair grants, and support first-time buyers and rent-to-own models. Every new development in District 1 should include sidewalks, lighting, transit access, and green space because where you live shouldn’t limit how well you live.
Education shapes everything. I’ll strengthen ties between City Council, Cumberland County Schools, and our community through quarterly roundtables with parents, students, and educators. I’ll support bringing services like tutoring, tech labs, and mental health support to or near schools, and push to open school spaces for after-school programs. With tools like a Student Voice Dashboard and focused support for attendance and literacy, we’ll ensure every student in District 1 is supported and heard.
